Collaboration is key to shaping, advancing and delivering a climate ready Australia.
Diverse and widespread commitment and contribution to climate action is essential. A climate ready Australia is possible only by combining the efforts of people, communities and organisations. We are the vehicles for change.
That’s why we’re looking for leaders from industry, research, the community and government who can work together to meet this great challenge.
Calling peak bodies
As representatives of business, industry and community we are reaching out to peak bodies to participate in an Alliance of Peaks for a climate ready Australia.
We will work with this alliance to co-design the consultation methods, to identify common needs and issues for climate action. If you represent a peak body and want to learn more please get in touch.
Everyone has a voice
In 2022 we will reach out to industry, research, the community and government to ensure all voices are represented in identifying common priorities in this pivotal challenge for Australian society. The findings will feed into the development of a draft agenda for climate action in Australia which will be co-developed with the Alliance of Peaks.
At the inaugural national convention Climate Ready Australia 2030 in mid 2022, we will present the results of the consultations and the draft of Australia’s first national agenda for climate action. Everyone in the community will have an opportunity to participate in this historic event.
